Active Building Centre Showcase
In November to demonstrate ABC’s work and impact we held a showcase event in the John Huggett building. Over 160 people came including 50 speakers from across the country to listen and debate the challenges and hopes around decarbonisation of our buildings. Aptly scheduled at the same time as world leaders gathered in Egypt for #cop27, we had a government minister and many leaders from across the built environment and innovation.

And finally as announced during our Showcase event, we’re delighted to say that from next year the work of ABC will continue… The final details are being ironed out, but it means the learning around integrating energy systems into construction will continue with ABC becoming part of the Catapult Network.
